Did a lower rating can cause for removing an app - See what Play store says

Did play Store remove Tik Tok?

It is the most common question that arises in everyone's mind because of the rating of Tik Tok down from 4.5 to 1.2 in a few days.

There is no clear answer to this question found, Let's see what Playstore app policy says,

One chance of banning any app like Tik Tok is, if the government decided to ban the app in the country then the app must be removed from the Play Store.

There is no clear policy to remove or ban an app over a rating. According to Play Store policy if an app tried to get more app engagement and user reviews and ratings by any spam sources or by misleading the user.

But in the case of Tik Tok, there are more serious things happen, that it in this case users just not only given the 1-star rating they will also flag the app as inappropriate for various reason. And in Play Store Policy it is clearly mentioned that if an app's contents found as restricted content( like Sexual content, hate speech, violence, or any other inappropriate content) then the app can be suspended and even removed by the Playstore.

If google reviews the app about the reported topic, they can see the recent case against a Tiktoker named Faizal Siddiqui for promoting a serious crime like Acid attack. A few days ago well known  Paresh Rawal's tweet gives a flame to the topic of ban Tik Tok in India.

Another side Tik Tok has approx 120 Million monthly users in India which is the highest user counts over other countries and Tik Tok must take action about this topic.

What do you think about this and what you think tik tok needs to ban in India or not?
