Govt launches Tulip portal to provide internship to engineers and graduate students

The government announces a new portal named Tulip for providing internships to the students under the 'smart city' project.

The Tulip portal is developed by AICTE. Under the portal, the student will get a chance to get an internship under 100 smart city projects. The smart city projects are maintained by the ministry of housing and urban development.

According to the Tulip portal, there are 3,00,000 internships under 24,000 companies.

More than 80 lakh students studying under several engineering colleges in Indian.25,000 students can be enrolled for the first year.

Who are eligible?

Students having a degree of B. Tech, B planning, B. Arch, BA, BSc, BCom, LLB can register for internships as per their interest.
