ITC launches new hand sanitiser unser Savlon brand to take on COVID-19

For the huge demand of hand sanitisers because of COVID-19 pandemic,ITC Ltd launches a hand sanitizer under the Savlon brand.

Price of the sanitiser  is Rs 250 for 500ml bottle.ITC claims that that works effectively against germs like bacteria,viruses etc.The name of the produc is Savlon Hexa.The products aimed at consumers and frontline medical professionals and this is lauched across the country.

Sameer Satpathy ,chief executive of the personal care products business division at ITC said,"Our advance hand sanitiser is one of our quickest launches,brought to fruition in record time.Savlon Hexa has been designed to address the critical and urgent need for trustworthy,effective preventive hygiene solutions of the nation during these challenging times of COVID-19.

During the  COVID-19 pandemic the hand sanitiser is the most emergency hygine item in this time.The demand of hand sanitiser has increased exponentially among consumers and also healthcare professionals.

ITC has already stopped production of cigarettes which is its primary revenue earner and focus on production of emergency items.That cause the creation of the huge black market for cigarettes across the country.

ITC using their  perfume menufacturing plant in Himachal Pradesh to make Savlon hand sanitisers.They are trying to enhance production anf meet up the availibility of the product.
